New Year holidays in Kyrgyzstan extended until January 12

No transfers or make-up working days are planned

In the Kyrgyz Republic, the New Year holidays have been extended, and they will now last from January 1 to January 12, 2026. The corresponding decree was adopted by the government of the country.

This decision is aimed at supporting family values and creating more comfortable conditions for parents and children to spend time together.

Private companies are recommended to follow this example and provide their employees with similar conditions to improve the balance between work and family life.

It should be noted that the previously proposed transfers of working days by the Ministry of Labor will not take place. Thus, the need to make up for the days off on January 8 and 9 is canceled.
