The benefit will come into effect on January 1, 2026
According to information from the Ministry of Labor, the new benefit "Assistance for Residents of High Mountain Areas" is intended for residents of high-altitude and remote areas.
The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration has already organized training for employees of territorial departments in the Naryn, Talas, Issyk-Kul, and Chui regions to familiarize them with the procedure for granting this benefit. During the training, a special module in the Unified Social Security System was presented, and explanations were provided regarding the process of issuing payments.
This benefit will be provided to families living in high-altitude, remote, and certain border settlements with special status, from the birth of the third child and each subsequent child until they reach three years of age.
The amount of the monthly benefit will be 3,000 soms. Applications will be accepted starting in January 2026, and the first payments will be made from February 1, 2026.
To receive the benefit, citizens must submit an application to the territorial social protection authorities.
The ministry noted that the benefit will be paid regardless of the family's socio-economic status and without taking into account the regional coefficient.
