The People's Kurultai continues in the capital
At the IV People's Kurultai, Gaarba Orozmatov, representing Bishkek, proposed to the Constitutional Court to restore the death penalty for those who commit crimes against women and children, as well as for corrupt officials.
Orozmatov noted that such measures should only be taken after a thorough examination of all circumstances to avoid mistakes and injustice.
Additionally, he suggested renaming all four districts of the capital.
“It’s time to do this,” the delegate concluded.
