“Considering the expansion of the city boundaries, many new problems and tasks have arisen. I propose to increase the number of city hall employees and create the position of first deputy mayor, who will deal with the issues of the settlements that joined Bishkek as a result of the ATR. This person should be an experienced specialist in land legislation and urban issues,” emphasized Turdubayev.
It is worth noting that in 2024, the following settlements were included in Bishkek:
- the rural districts of Orok and Novopavlovka of the Sokuluk district;
- the rural districts of Kok-Zhar, Alamedin, Lower Ala-Archa, Lebedinovka, Maevka, and Prigorodnoye of the Alamudun district;
- the village of Orto-Sai of the Tash-Deben rural district of the Alamudun district;
- the residential area "Anar-Bak" and contours No. 544, 545, 552 of the Kara-Jyghach rural district of the Alamudun district;
- the residential area "Altyn-Kazyk" of the Ak-Deben rural district of the Alamudun district;
- contour No. 177 of the village of Ak-Zhol of the At-Bashinsky rural district of the Sokuluk district;
- the village of Mykan and the residential areas "Ak-Zhar," "Nurkhojo-Ata," "Adilet" of the Lenin rural district of the Alamudun district.
