Delegates of the People's Kurultai in Bishkek surprised no less than the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh

The topics they raised were characterized by their sharpness and ambiguity.

The IV People's Kurultai took place in Bishkek, attended by President Sadyr Japarov.

690 delegates from different corners of the country participated in the event, and 150 participants delivered speeches.

President Japarov listened to the opinions of all the delegates, summarized the year, and discussed the current state of Kyrgyzstan. He noted that the country has entered a new stage of its economic and state management development.

In addition, the president took part in an online ceremony to launch 27 industrial and 67 social facilities across the republic.

Discussions at the kurultai covered a wide range of social issues, including the development of the processing industry, infrastructure, improvement of water supply systems, as well as support for agriculture and entrepreneurship. Delegates raised a number of pressing topics, including proposals to ban alcohol, introduce the death penalty for corrupt officials and pedophiles, limit the employment of men in public service in cases of domestic violence, and abolish the quota for women in the Jogorku Kenesh.

Special attention was given to projects aimed at developing rural and urban areas, as well as protecting the rights of migrants, including their election to the parliament of Kyrgyzstan.

Sadyr Japarov answered questions from the participants of the kurultai and commented on a number of relevant topics, highlighting key directions for the country's development. The president noted that many of the discussed problems are already in the process of being resolved.

However, he pointed out that some delegates were not completely honest, especially regarding participation in elections.
