On December 25, the Osh National Drama Theater named after Sultan Ibraimov presented its new performance "Kurmanjan" in the city of Kokand, Uzbekistan, as part of its tour.

According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Culture, the theater troupe, under the direction of artistic director Ulanmyrza Karypbaev, performed on the stage of the Kokand City Musical and Dramatic Theater.

The performance "Kurmanjan" is based on the work of the Kyrgyz folk poet Sooronbay Jusuyev, which tells the story of the life of the outstanding historical figure — Kurmanjan Datka.
