The competition, organized by the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA), took place from December 20 to 25 in the capital city, Male, and featured four national teams.
Under the guidance of coaches Ulanbek Kurstanbek uulu and Nurgiza Masimova, the Kyrgyz team played five matches, winning four of them and securing gold medals.
The team consisted of athletes who participated in the youth zonal championship of Asia in Sri Lanka at the beginning of November, where they competed among volleyball players no older than 19 years.
The team comprises 14 players: 11 schoolgirls, one college student, and two university students. The average age of the team is 16.5 years.
