The women's volleyball team of Kyrgyzstan won the CAVA Cup 2025, which took place in the Maldives.
According to the Volleyball Federation of Kyrgyzstan, four teams participated in the tournament, playing in a round-robin format.
In the group stage, the Kyrgyz team played three matches, winning two — against the teams of Afghanistan (3:0) and Bangladesh (3:0), and then losing to the hosts of the tournament — the Maldives national team (1:3).
Having gathered enough points, the Kyrgyz team took second place in the group and advanced to the semifinals, where they faced Afghanistan again and won with a score of 3:1.
In the final, they had to battle the Maldivian volleyball players once more, and this time the Kyrgyz team won with a score of 3:1.
As a result of the tournament, Nurjamal Bolotbekova was awarded the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP).
