In Kokand, the performance "Kurmanjan" by the Osh National Drama Theater was showcased

The performance of "Kurmanjan" took place in the historic Uzbek city of Kokand, organized by the Osh National Drama Theater named after S. Ibraimov as part of a touring program. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture.

The theater, led by artistic director Ulanmyrza Karypbaev, was warmly welcomed by colleagues from the Kokand Musical Drama Theater, headed by Dilshan Akhmedaliev. Guests were greeted with music and songs in a festive atmosphere.

Ulanmyrza Karypbaev noted that the tour with this production, based on the work of the famous Kyrgyz poet Sooronbay Jusuyev, holds special significance. He added that art knows no borders, and powerful works can touch people regardless of their nationality.

During the event, participants from the Kyrgyz and Uzbek theaters emphasized the importance of strengthening cultural ties and expanding creative collaboration between the countries.

The audience in Kokand reacted warmly to the performance of "Kurmanjan," which tells the story of the life and feats of Kurmanjan Datka, noting its emotional depth and high quality of performance.
