The press service of the General Prosecutor's Office reported the restoration of property rights for an orphaned child who was left without parental care.
During a review of compliance with legislation regarding the protection of the rights of orphaned children, the prosecutor's office of the Ak-Suu district in the Issyk-Kul region identified cases of illegal registration of property rights by third parties, including relatives, based on fictitious contracts.
Following the prosecutor's intervention, a lawsuit was filed in court. As a result of its consideration, the inheritance rights of the orphaned child to a residential property were restored, and property inherited from the parents, valued at 3 million 332 thousand soms, was returned.
In addition, recommendations for restoring inheritance rights for 14 other orphaned children were sent to the authorized child protection agency.
