In the third quarter of 2025, according to the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of Kyrgyzstan, more than 800 children found their foster parents.
As a result of the work during this period, 492 children were placed under guardianship, 370 became part of families through national adoption, and two children were adopted by foreigners.
The ministry noted that all families who took in the children are required to register and are under constant supervision by guardianship authorities, which ensures proper care, upbringing, and protection of children's rights.
It is worth reminding that the process of adoption and placement of children under guardianship is regulated by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as by relevant norms concerning the placement of children with both citizens of the country and foreigners.
These measures are aimed at creating safe and supportive conditions for children left without parental care, as well as strengthening the system of family placement in Kyrgyzstan.
