On December 29, the long-awaited premiere of the military historical TV series "Өрт кечкен сөйкө" will take place in Bishkek, which has become the first of its kind for Kyrgyz cinema. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture.

The creation of the series was carried out by the State Creative and Production Association "Kyrgyzserial" with the active support of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Defense, and the Department of Cinema.

The project includes 8 episodes that highlight the fates of 1,395 women volunteers from Kyrgyzstan who went to the front during World War II. The series emphasizes the heroism of both Kyrgyzstani and Soviet soldiers.

The plot is based on real events and the fates of people who defended their homeland. It showcases the life journeys of women soldiers from various corners of Kyrgyzstan, such as the Soviet Hero, pilot Evdokia Pasko (from Karakol), surgeon Rafa Aydarbekova (from Chui region), as well as anti-aircraft gunner Tamara Baltabaeva and others, including radio operators, scouts, snipers, and medics who served at the front.

The series also reflects the images of Panfilovets, who later became a Hero of Kyrgyzstan and a folk poet Sooronbay Jusuyev, as well as pilot Abdykerim Karmysakov.
