A decrease in investment inflow is observed in many regions of the country; however, positive dynamics were noted in the Jalal-Abad, Naryn, Osh, and Chui regions.
Structure of foreign investments for January–September:
- Foreign direct investments amounted to $885 million (in 2024 - $747 million), with the share increasing from 15.5% to 22.3%.
- Portfolio investments amounted to $3.8 million (in 2024 - $1.8 million), with the share being 0.1%.
- Other investments amounted to $3,069.4 million (in 2024 - $4,072 million), with the share decreasing from 84.2% to 77.4%.
- Grants and technical assistance amounted to $7.5 million (in 2024 - $13.6 million), with the share being 0.2% (in 2024 - 0.3%).
The overall reduction in the volume of inflows occurred mainly due to a decrease in the "other investments" category, despite the growth of foreign direct investments and an increase in their share of the total volume.
