On March 26, 2025, a citizen named S.S. approached the internal affairs department of the Alamudun district, reporting fraudulent actions by an individual named M. In 2024, this person deceived several car owners: a 2018 Toyota Hilux worth $23,000, a 2003 Honda Stream for $7,000, a 2018 Hyundai Sonata valued at $15,000, and $20,000 in cash, promising to pay with construction concrete but has yet to fulfill his obligations and has gone into hiding. Based on this statement, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. In August 2025, the investigative authorities of the Alamudun district decided to hold citizen B.M. criminally liable. A preventive measure in the form of a remote arrest was applied, and he was declared wanted, leading to the opening of a case for his search. During operational-search activities, the location of B.M. was determined, after which he was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to identify any other possible crimes committed by the detainee. The investigation continues.
