In the Chui region, law enforcement agencies have detained a man suspected of large-scale automobile fraud. This was reported by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.
According to the information, on March 26, 2025, a citizen identified as S.S., born in 1987, filed a complaint with the Internal Affairs Department of the Alamudun district. He reported that in 2024, a certain individual named M. deceitfully took possession of his vehicles: a 2018 Toyota Hilux valued at $23,000, a 2003 Honda Stream worth $7,000, and a 2018 Hyundai Sonata estimated at $15,000. Additionally, he stole $20,000 in cash, promising to pay with construction concrete, but has since gone into hiding.
Based on this complaint, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In August 2025, the investigative authorities of the Internal Affairs Department of the Alamudun district decided to hold citizen B.M. accountable. A preventive measure in the form of detention in absentia was chosen against him, and he was declared wanted.
As a result of operational search activities, the whereabouts of the wanted B.M., born in 1988, were established. He was detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to identify other possible crimes committed by the detainee.
