A wanted person in a fraud case has been detained in the Chui region. This information was announced by the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
It became known that on March 26, a citizen named S.S., born in 1987, approached the local police. He reported that in 2024, a citizen named B.M. deceitfully acquired several vehicles: a 2018 Toyota Hilux worth $23,000; a 2003 Honda Stream valued at $7,000; and a 2018 Hyundai Sonata priced at $15,000. Additionally, B.M. stole $20,000 in cash. According to him, the fraudster promised to pay with construction concrete but ultimately disappeared.
Based on this information, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In August 2025, the investigative authorities of the Alamudun district police department charged B.M. as a defendant, and a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen for him, after which he was declared wanted.
As a result of operational search activities, the suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, law enforcement agencies continue to investigate his possible involvement in other crimes. The investigation is ongoing.
