The press service of the Chuy region reported the detention of a suspect in a large-scale fraud case related to automobiles.
On March 26, a man approached the Alamedin District Department of Internal Affairs with a statement that in 2024, a certain citizen named M. took three cars and 20,000 dollars from him, promising to repay the debt with construction concrete. After that, he disappeared.
The stolen vehicles include:
2018 Toyota Hilux, valued at 23,000 dollars;
2003 Honda Stream, worth 7,000 dollars;
2018 Hyundai Sonata, which costs 15,000 dollars.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of fraud as stipulated by Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In August 2025, the Investigative Service of the Alamedin District Department of Internal Affairs decided to charge citizen B.M. as a defendant. A preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen in absentia, after which he was declared wanted.
As a result of operational search activities, the whereabouts of B.M., born in 1988, were established. He was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to identify other possible crimes committed by the detainee.
