The audit conducted by the Accounts Chamber covered not only budget indicators but also the staffing situation in healthcare institutions, the level of staff completeness, working conditions, and the presence of additional payments. It was found that the shortage of staff and vacant positions negatively affect the accessibility of medical services.
As a result of the audit, the revised budget approved in accordance with the Law "On the Republican Budget of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2024" was also reviewed. The budget execution amounted to over 93% by the end of the year.
Furthermore, the inspection revealed a number of deficiencies in the accounting of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, as well as in the maintenance of accounting records and management of accounts receivable. In this regard, recommendations were made to address the identified issues.
The results of the audit are aimed at improving the management of budgetary funds in the healthcare sector, enhancing financial discipline, and ensuring the effective use of resources.
