President Sadyr Japarov has made the decision to strip Almazbek Atambayev of the state awards of Kyrgyzstan. This decision was a consequence of the verdict issued by the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek on June 3, 2025.
As a result of the decree, Atambayev lost the title of "Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic," as well as the orders "Manas" II degree, "Danaker," and the medal "Dank."
According to the press service of the head of state, all previous decrees of the president, on the basis of which these awards were granted, have also been annulled.
The State Judicial Service has been instructed to confiscate the awards and transfer them to the fund of state awards.
