The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, has signed a decree that amends a number of his previous orders regarding military uniforms and insignia for military personnel, including employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).

According to this decree, the changes pertain to orders issued on May 11, 2022, under number 148, and December 28, 2022, under number 413.

One of the key points is the approval of a new color scheme for the uniforms of GKNB employees — dark blue. The document also details the elements of the new summer and winter field uniforms, including insulated jackets, headgear, removable hoods, epaulettes, and footwear.

Additionally, the decree specifies the uniforms for cadets of the GKNB Academy named after Lieutenant General Anarbek Bakayev, including details of everyday, field, and ceremonial clothing. The document lists sets for both summer and winter uniforms, including caps, tunics, trousers, coats, gloves, and accessories.

The implementation of these changes will occur within the budgetary funds allocated for the respective years for the GKNB.

The decree will come into effect 10 days after its signing.
