For the first time in Russia, "Person of the Year" was named "nobody," while President Vladimir Putin took the second position in the ranking. These results became known thanks to a telephone survey conducted by the company Russian Field. The survey showed that a significant number of Russians could not identify a specific individual as "Person of the Year - 2025," resulting in "nobody" taking the first place. Thus, 35% of respondents stated that they could not name anyone specific.
Support for Vladimir Putin was expressed by 33% of survey participants.
Four percent of respondents chose Donald Trump, while 3% named their spouse.
According to another study conducted by the "Public Opinion" Foundation, 36% of Russians also recognized Vladimir Putin as "Person of the Year - 2025" in the field of politics. Respondents were asked to choose an individual in areas such as politics, culture, and sports.
Among those who answered, one-third pointed to Putin as the most significant figure among Russian politicians. In second place with 6% was Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, while Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin came in third with 5%.
