Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Education have been subjected to penalties
On December 29, a meeting was held in the Talas region, attended by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, representatives of educational institutions, and local authorities. This event was initiated by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), as reported by their press center.
The basis of the discussion was a conflict between seventh graders that occurred in Talas during the autumn holidays, the recording of which appeared on social media.
At the meeting, it was announced that in connection with the incident, the GKNB is conducting an investigation, during which shortcomings in the work of responsible officials were identified. As a result, the principal of School No. 5 in Talas and the deputy head of the local police department were dismissed. Disciplinary measures were also taken against the head of the city education department and the social educator of this school, while four employees of the internal affairs bodies received reprimands.
The minors who committed the offense were placed on preventive registration, and their parents were subjected to fines in accordance with current legislation.
