As a result of the criticism voiced by Deputy Prime Minister and head of the State National Security Committee Kamchybek Tashiev, several employees of the Ministry of Transport and Communications received reprimands. This information was made public at today's meeting of the agency.
The meeting was chaired by Minister Absattar Syrgabaev, during which various issues were discussed, including the construction of the Balykchy – Bokonbaeva – Karakol road.
Due to identified shortcomings, reprimands were issued to the First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications S.T.O., the Director of the Road Management Department A.K.K., the Director of the State Enterprise "Design and Survey Institute 'Kyrgyzdortransproject'" A.T.N., and the Deputy Director of the same enterprise O.K.K.
The minister emphasized that the construction of the specified road is under the personal control of Kamchybek Tashiev and instructed all involved to accelerate the work, paying special attention to quality, in order to complete the project on time.
Earlier, Tashiev expressed dissatisfaction regarding the fact that the road repairs, which began in 2021, have still not been completed, and warned of possible accountability for those responsible. An order was also given for the arrest of the founder of LLC "Kyrgyz Zhol Kurolysh" Mirlan Isagaliev.
