The specialists of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) detained a man named S.U.E., who is suspected of committing large-scale fraud. The agency's press service reports on his detention.
During operational activities, it became known that this citizen, under the guise of fictitious familial connections with the president and the chairman of the GKNB, took possession of two vehicles: a 2022 Toyota Tundra worth $65,000 and a 2011 Mercedes-Benz A-Class valued at $15,000.
It is specified that S.U.E. refused to return the vehicles to the rightful owner, citing his alleged high connections in the government. Moreover, he threatened and claimed that he could resolve any issues, supporting his words with demonstrations of photographs with high-ranking officials.
Based on the collected materials, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209, Part 4 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. On December 27, 2025, the suspect was taken into custody in Cholpon-Ata, located in the Issyk-Kul region.
He is currently in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB, and investigative actions are ongoing to clarify all the details of the incident.
