* A suspect in a car fraud case worth 20 thousand dollars has been detained in Bishkek.
According to information from the Interior Ministry of the Pervomaisky District, on May 16, 2025, a citizen named M.M. reported to the police. He stated that in September 2024, he transferred a Chevrolet Trailblazer to citizen F.S. as payment for the construction of a bathhouse on his summer cottage. The total cost of the work amounted to 10 thousand dollars, while F.S. was supposed to return the remaining 10 thousand dollars in cash, but he did not fulfill his obligations.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was opened under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational search activities, law enforcement officers detained citizen F.S., born in 1989, who was placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigating judge of the Pervomaisky District Court recognized the detention as legal and justified. The suspect was remanded in custody in SIZO-1.
Furthermore, it has currently been established that there are other similar fraud complaints against F.S. Investigative actions are ongoing.
