The State Committee for National Security (GKNB) has detained a suspect in fraud.
According to the agency's information, the detained individual, a citizen with the initials S.U.E., used his alleged close ties with the President of Kyrgyzstan and the Chairman of the GKNB to carry out fraudulent activities.
It has been established that he took possession of two vehicles: a Toyota Tundra worth $65,000 and a Mercedes-Benz valued at $15,000. The GKNB also reported that S.U.E. not only refused to return the vehicles but also threatened the owner with retribution, citing his connections with high-ranking officials, showing family photos of the president and the head of the special services, and claiming that he was capable of "solving any issues."
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. S.U.E. was detained in Cholpon-Ata, located in the Issyk-Kul region, and placed in the GKNB temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are currently ongoing.
