On December 29, the capital's cinema "Manas" will host the presentation of the first military-historical TV series "Өрт кечкен сөйкө," which has become a significant event for Kyrgyz cinema. The organizers of the event shared this news.
The series marks the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Comprising eight episodes, it tells the story of the heroism and patriotic spirit of 1,395 Kyrgyz girls who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, as well as highlighting the fates of both Kyrgyz and Soviet soldiers. The plot is based on real historical events.
This project was developed by "Kyrgyzserial" with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Defense.
