In Kokand, the Osh National Drama Theater presented the play "Kurmandzhan"

In the historic city of Kokand, located in Uzbekistan, a performance of the new play "Kurmandzhan" by the Osh National Drama Theater named after S. Ibraimov took place. This information was announced by representatives of the Ministry of Culture.



The creative team, led by the artistic director of the theater, Ulanmyrza Karypaev, was warmly welcomed by the audience and colleagues from the Kokand Musical Drama Theater, directed by Dilshan Akhmedaliev. The meeting took place in a festive atmosphere, accompanied by music and songs.

Ulanmyrza Karypaev noted that the tour with this production, based on the work of the famous Kyrgyz poet Sooronbay Jusuyev, holds special value for the team. He added that art knows no borders, and powerful works can touch the feelings of viewers regardless of their national affiliation.



During the event, participants from Kyrgyz and Uzbek theaters emphasized the importance of strengthening cultural ties and expanding collaborative creative cooperation.

The audience in Kokand warmly received the play "Kurmandzhan," which tells the story of the life and feats of the famous historical figure Kurmandzhan Datka, noting its emotional depth and high level of artistic execution.
