Brigitte Bardot, the renowned French actress, singer, and model, passed away at the age of 92 in Paris. Her death was announced on December 28 by the charitable organization Fondation Brigitte Bardot.
According to information provided by the foundation and published by CNN, the cause of death has not yet been disclosed. The statement noted that Bardot was not only the president and founder of the foundation but also a world-famous actress who, at one point in her career, decided to leave the film industry and focus on animal rights, as mentioned by the portal "Informator.UA".
This autumn, reports indicated a significant deterioration in Bardot's health. In October, she was hospitalized in a private clinic in Toulon, where she spent over a month before undergoing surgery. However, details about her health and treatment have not been officially revealed.
