In the "Jubailar" section, today we will tell you about Khorlan Beksyrgaeva and Moldaly Adzhikulov, who live in the Sokuluk district of Chui region.

Khorlan Beksyrgaeva's journey from the Sokuluk district of Chui region began with a trip to Issyk-Kul, where she sought treatment for her allergies. Ultimately, she not only recovered but also married a Kyrgyz man, deciding to stay in Kyrgyzstan forever.

Khorlan was born in 1960 in the Kegen district of Almaty region, Kazakhstan. She graduated from high school in Karkara in 1977 with a "Gold Medal" and, after enrolling in the physics department of the Issyk-Kul Pedagogical Institute in 1978, completed her studies in 1983. In 1980, she met her future husband, and in 1982 they got married. The couple has two sons and two daughters, all of whom received higher education. They also have eight grandchildren. Khorlan's husband is also from the Sokuluk district, which strengthens their connection to this place.

Khorlan studied at the Almaty Agricultural Institute and worked in agriculture, which led to allergic dermatitis.

“I was treated for a year, but the disease only worsened, and I developed a serious ulcer on my eye. An acquaintance advised me to move to Issyk-Kul, where the air could help allergy sufferers. I didn't know how I would manage to study in Kyrgyz, but for the sake of my health, I agreed to this step. The acquaintance suggested I enroll in the Przhevalsky Pedagogical Institute, where my new life began,” she recalls.

Issyk-Kul truly became her salvation: all the ulcers disappeared, and she completely recovered from her allergies. “I am grateful to this sacred place not only for my health but also for finding love and starting a family. On September 26, I turned 65,” shares Khorlan.

Having worked in education for 42 years, Khorlan chose the profession of a teacher, inspired by her educators. After getting married, her career began at school No. 1 "Oktyabr" in the village of Asylbash, where she worked from 1983 to 2002, also serving as the deputy director for educational and upbringing work.

“When my children started school, we moved to Almaty in 2002, and in 2019 I retired. In 2022, we returned to Kyrgyzstan. My husband, Moldaly Adzhikulov, was also a teacher, graduating from the Przhevalsky Pedagogical Institute with specializations in drawing, labor, and drawing,” Beksyrgaeva recounts. For her work, she has been awarded numerous diplomas and medals, including "Ulagatty Ustaz" and "Teacher of the Year" in Kazakhstan, as well as the Order No. 1 named after D.A. Kunaev, becoming the first in the history of Kazakhstan to receive it.

In her free time, Khorlan enjoys reading historical books and playing the dombra. She also shares memorable moments from her teaching practice.

“I have always loved my students. While working at the school, I paid special attention to educational work. Once, when I came early in the morning to meet the students, I encountered a puppy that chased after me. After that incident, I started bringing a stick with me for protection when I went to their homes. Over 42 years of work, I have accumulated many interesting and funny stories,” she concludes.
