Will we ever be able to overcome Alzheimer's disease, or is it a problem that cannot be solved? Leading dementia specialists are confident that revolutionary treatment methods could become a reality within the next five to ten years, according to BBC News.

Researchers from the University of Edinburgh noted that in the future it may be possible not only to prevent the onset of the disease but also to slow its progression. In the longer term, they hope for the possibility of completely curing patients who are already showing early symptoms.
However, despite these encouraging assumptions, scientists emphasized that due to the extraordinary complexity of the human brain, discussions about guaranteed success can only take place after the completion of clinical trials.
