The regional news outlet Turmush continues the column "Жеңеке" (Zheneke). In it, we share stories from the lives of young brides and experienced daughters-in-law.

The goal of the project is to remind about the importance of family values, to reveal the beauty and talents of married women. The heroine is Nurgul Nurchalieva, a resident of the village of Kara-Bulun in the At-Bashinsky district of the Naryn region.

She was born in 1996 in the village of Kyzyl-Tuu in the At-Bashinsky district of the Naryn region. She is currently on maternity leave. "I studied well in school and was an active student — no festive event took place without me. I hosted concerts, acted in intermissions, wrote poetry, and sang. Teachers noticed and appreciated my talent, advising me to pursue a career in the arts. After finishing high school, I enrolled in the capital's Institute of Arts named after Bүbüsara Beishanalieva in the theater and cinema actress department. Unfortunately, I studied there for only three months. During my studies, my aunt introduced me to my current husband. My aunt and uncle said: 'You are already a grown girl, we have a neighbor boy, let's introduce you.' When I returned to my native village, I agreed to meet him. That's where all the jokes began. He came with a friend and said: 'Don't go to the city, we will take you anyway.' I replied: 'That's not possible, I'm studying, I won't get married.'

But already at our first meeting, I felt that my heart responded — probably, that's when I understood everything. The next day, my brother said that it was too early for me to get married and sent me back to the city. Then my aunt and uncle called and said that he had fallen in love and still intended to marry me. I thought it was a joke, but my husband really came to the city with friends. I called him and said that I had already mentioned — I won't get married yet, but they still came. I met with friends, told them the situation, and they started asking about the guy. After thinking, I agreed. I returned home, everyone was waiting for me. We went into another room, my husband promised to make me happy and never make me cry. Together with his friends, my brother, and my friend, we set off. My parents blessed us, and that's how we started our family," she says.

According to Nurchalieva, it was not easy to adapt after marriage, but her husband and his family turned out to be good people, and everything went smoothly. "For three years, we had no children, I was eagerly waiting. In 2018, we had a daughter, now she is in the second grade. In 2020, our second daughter was born. As it turned out, not everything in life goes as we plan. Fate tested us: we separated and lived apart for a year and a half, I with the daughters. But apparently, the Almighty did not allow our marriage to fall apart — we came back together, realized the value of each other, and started life anew. Now, thank God, we are happy. We have a son who is now one year old — the sweetest age. I am the youngest daughter-in-law in the family, we live together with my father-in-law and mother-in-law. Their contribution to the development of my blog is very significant. My father-in-law, who often appears in my videos, is very loved by people," she shared.

Nurgul Nurchalieva's husband is Manasbek Suynaliev, known in the village as Maksat. "He is engaged in horse breeding. Despite his young age, he is respected among the villagers. They ask him to catch a stallion, give an injection, check a horse. In the third year of our married life, we first lost my sister-in-law, then my brother-in-law. Now we are raising their child — he has become like an older son to us. My father-in-law lost his wife back in 2011, and later his daughter — it was a heavy trial. He is a cheerful person, but after losing his daughter, he aged significantly in 2–3 years. To distract him a little, I started filming videos. It turned out that in his childhood he dreamed of acting in movies and singing. Now this dream is gradually coming true. Sometimes in the district, people recognize him, and he returns home happy. In 2016, we married off my father-in-law, and now he has been living with his new wife for 9 years. We suggested this so that he wouldn't feel lonely, and everyone supported it," says Nurgul.

Nurchalieva recalls how from the first days of being a daughter-in-law, she easily found common ground with her father-in-law. "I taught him to say the word 'Zynk.' He is a creative person: he tells the story of 'Manas,' sings, dances 'kara-zhorgo' and the Andijan polka. At first, we wore stage costumes together and performed at village concerts — we sang and danced. Now I shoot short videos. When I suggest filming, my father-in-law never refuses — on the contrary, he supports it, gets into character, and participates. My husband and I bought a car, started raising livestock, and this year we plan to start building a house. As they say, the road smooths out as you move — everything is going its own way. He supports my blog, even bought me the latest model phone for filming, gave me motivation. I am truly very happy — everything is going well. My parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law, relatives, children, and husband are all alive and healthy. My husband is a caring father and a reliable spouse, he does not deprive us of anything," shared the resident of the At-Bashinsky district.

In the summer, the family goes to the summer pasture, milks the mares, and sells kumis. "When the children are on vacation, we set up a yurt at the winter corral, bring our horses there, and milk them. Relatives come to drink kumis, as well as people who want to improve their health — they buy kumis. We take the surplus to the village or to the market and sell it. This is how we live at the summer pasture until haymaking. In the future, I want to realize myself in cinema, become recognizable, and fulfill my childhood dream," she shared.
