The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKFR) has achieved significant success in its investment activities by the end of 2025. The fund's press service reported that since its inception, the total approved financing has exceeded 1 billion US dollars, highlighting its important role in the economy of Kyrgyzstan.
In 2025, the fund managed to significantly exceed planned indicators, directing nearly 225 million dollars into the country's economy. Over the year, 173 new projects were approved with a total amount exceeding 360 million dollars, of which 36 projects began practical implementation, and 20 new enterprises created with the fund's support were put into operation.
The fund's investment activities focused on five key areas defined by the government: the development of "green" energy, reindustrialization, the creation of a regional logistics hub, support for the agro-industrial complex, and the improvement of social infrastructure.
RKFR's investments in energy exceeded 180 million dollars, including 16 projects in the field of "green" energy, among which are the Kulanak Hydroelectric Power Station and the Bala-Saruu HPP. In 2025, more than 23 million dollars were allocated for the development of logistics infrastructure, with the key project being the "Kokcho-Koz" transport and logistics center in the south of the country.
Throughout its existence, the fund has invested over 200 million dollars in the agro-industrial complex, financing around 2000 projects. This has ensured almost complete satisfaction of the domestic demand for sugar and significantly strengthened positions in the production of chicken eggs, dairy products, and other essential goods. Nearly 65 million dollars were allocated for projects in the fields of education and healthcare.
Artyom Novikov, Chairman of the Board of RKFR, noted that the fund continues to develop support tools, including leasing, the creation of mutual investment funds, and financing startups and venture projects. In the near future, support for initiatives in the production of medicines, industry, and logistics is planned.
