Today, the premiere of the first military-historical series created by the State Enterprise “Kyrgyzfilm” took place in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. This was reported to the editorial office of 24.kg by the press service of the institution.

The series, consisting of eight episodes of 50 minutes each, is titled “The Fire of the Fallen Hero” (preliminary title — “The Gunner Tamara”) and was presented at the “Manas” cinema.

The project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy, as well as the Ministry of Defense and the Cinematography Department. The production was handled by the “Olokon-Media” studio, and the creation of the series is timed to the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army in the Great Patriotic War.

According to Ermek Amantur uulu, the director of the creative association “Kyrgyzfilm”, the series was filmed in two languages, with Kyrgyz being the primary one. It is planned to show it on local television channels and internet platforms in the future.

“We faced difficulties in finding equipment used during the war, so graphic effects were used for some scenes. Costumes and props were partially provided by the film studio, but some needed to be ordered additionally to create the appropriate atmosphere,” noted Ermek Amantur uulu.
The plot of the series is dedicated to the courage and patriotism of Kyrgyz and Soviet soldiers, as well as the role of women in achieving victory in the Great Patriotic War.
According to historical data, about 1,395 Kyrgyz women voluntarily went to the front. Through the fates of the main characters in the series, important themes of peace, homeland, and human solidarity are raised, addressing the youth.

The plot is based on real events and images adapted by the creators. The focus is on girls from various regions of Kyrgyzstan who stood up to defend their homeland. Among them are the Hero of the Soviet Union pilot Evdokia Pasko (from Karakol), surgeon Rafa Aydarbekova (from Chui region), gunner Tamara Baltabaeva (also from Chui region), radio operator Nagima (from Osh), scout Maira (from Issyk-Kul region), sniper Jiyde (from Naryn), paramedic Gulbara Yegemberdieva, and others. The series also depicts the fates of artists from the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic — Kynar Eralieva, Asipa Ismailova, and Kalipa Alieva, who performed at the front.

In addition to female characters, the series features male characters such as a Panfilovets, future Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic and national poet Sooronbay Jusuyev, pilot Abdykerim Karmysakov, and other participants in combat actions.

The project is led by chief producer Zhenishgul Ozbekova, and the director is Murat Mambetov. The cinematographers are Talant Urgaziev and Sanjar Abdyzhaparov, while editing was done by Tulgabek Koichumanov. The script was written by Gulmayram Saalaeva, Zhipar Isabaeva, and Gulzar Jumagulova.
