In the nomination for "Best Male Athlete in Olympic Sports," boxer Omar Livaza won. This year, he earned a silver medal at the World Championship under the auspices of the IBA and took first place at the Asian Championship among athletes under 22 years old.
Thus, Livaza became the first Kyrgyz boxer to reach the finals of the World Championship among adults.
