The CAVA Cup-2025 tournament took place in the capital, Male, from December 19 to 25, gathering teams from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, and the Maldives.
According to the results of the competition, the symbolic team included:
- Asema Seitbekova — best libero;
- Saikal Amirakulova — best blocker;
- Nurjamal Bolotbekova — best outside hitter.
We remind you that in the final, the Kyrgyzstani volleyball players defeated the Maldives team with a score of 3:1.
Previously, our athletes confidently won against teams from Bangladesh and Afghanistan, but in one of the matches, they lost to the tournament hosts. In the decisive match for a place in the final, they demonstrated strength and proved to be stronger than their Afghan opponents.
