Kyrgyzstani athletes won 9 medals at the pencak silat tournament in Tashkent

An international tournament in pencak silat called the "Commonwealth Cup" took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, as reported by Turmush correspondent.

Under the guidance of head coach Kanybek Bikboev, the national team demonstrated a high level of preparation, returning from the competition with nine medals, including three gold, two silver, and four bronze.
Winners in their weight categories included:

Aruuke Bikboeva (up to 36 kg),

Jandos Baymanhambekov (up to 40 kg);

Binazir Mustafaqulova (up to 65 kg).

Silver medals were awarded to:

Ayana Jusupova (up to 47 kg)

Shamil Bazarbaev (up to 60 kg).

Bronze medals were won by:

Nurislam Mustafaqulov (up to 57 kg);

Temir Bikboev (up to 65 kg);

Jafar Ibaidulaev (up to 70 kg);

Syymyk Tavaldiyev (up to 63 kg).

It was reported that "The tournament was organized to develop and popularize pencak silat — traditional martial arts of Indonesia and Malaysia, which include techniques for fighting with and without weapons, based on the martial traditions of Indonesia."
