This information was registered in the journal of the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs. An investigative operational group immediately went to the scene. Preliminary data indicates that three men drowned in the water body: Zh. Ch. (born in 1988), Zh. T. (born in 1966), and Zh. Zh. (born in 1963). The body of a 37-year-old man was found, while the search for the other two continues.
In order to clarify the circumstances of the incident, necessary forensic examinations have been appointed. More than 60 police officers are participating in the search and rescue operations. The resumption of the search is scheduled for December 31 at 08:30. An investigation is currently underway.
According to the Bishkek city administration, the deceased were employees of the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk." After finishing their shift on a section of Auezov Street, they were heading home around 08:00–08:30 and, unfortunately, drowned in a technical channel.
The mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, arrived at the scene, instructing his subordinates to take control of the situation and conduct a detailed investigation. After the search operations are completed, assistance will be provided to the families of the deceased from the mayor's reserve fund and through the union committee's funds.
Currently, the circumstances of the incident are still being clarified, and the situation is under the personal control of the mayor of Bishkek.
