The Bishkek City Hall confirmed that the drowned men worked at the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk."
According to information, the employees had finished cleaning their section on Auezov Street and, while returning home around 08:00-08:30, fell into a technical channel, where the tragedy occurred.
The mayor of the city, Aibek Junushaliev, immediately went to the scene of the incident.
He instructed to ensure control over the situation and to conduct a detailed investigation of the incident.
After the search operations are completed, assistance will be provided to the families of the deceased from the reserve fund, as well as from the trade union committee of "Tazalyk."
Currently, the circumstances of the incident are being clarified, and necessary measures are being taken.
The situation remains under the personal control of the mayor of Bishkek.
