In anticipation of the holiday, the mayor of the city, Aibek Junushaliev, handed over official vehicles to the Municipal Inspection and district administrations, as reported by the press service of the mayor's office.
During the vehicle handover ceremony, the mayor expressed gratitude to the employees of the Municipal Inspection for their contribution to environmental protection and the results achieved.
“Although this is a small event, its significance for the effective functioning of the city is hard to overestimate. I want to emphasize the work of the Municipal Inspection. For example, in 2025, you monitored all vehicles and checked the activities of bathhouses and other facilities for the use of prohibited substances throughout the summer season. Moreover, over the past two years, the amount of fines imposed has significantly exceeded the figures recorded before the establishment of the inspection,” the mayor noted.
Aibek Junushaliev also instructed to strengthen control over bathhouses, social institutions, and other heated organizations, especially in the residential area of "Dordoy" and the adjacent territories.
During the event, 17 official vehicles were handed over to both the Municipal Inspection and the district administrations.
Additionally, vehicles were provided to the akimats to enhance work with the population in new administrative units and other residential areas as part of the administrative-territorial reform.
The mayor emphasized that the process of updating the material and technical base and the transfer of official equipment will continue in the future.
