According to the information, the prepared document defines the rules for the implementation and application of the design code. It was reviewed by the permanent commission of the Tashkent Council of People's Deputies, responsible for construction, communal and water management, ecology, industry, and transport.
In the coming days, it is planned to publish appendices related to this design code for public discussion, during which residents and representatives of the professional community will be able to submit their comments and suggestions.
The development of the Tashkent design code was carried out with the participation of the analytical and design center Citymakers International, as well as the company Toshkent Invest Kompaniyasi.
As noted in the message, the aim of the document is to create a convenient, safe, and cohesive urban environment. It establishes clear and understandable rules for the appearance of buildings and public spaces in the capital, and also contributes to the formation of a new culture of urban space that will be comfortable and visually harmonious.
We remind you that starting in 2024, a project to create a unified design code will also begin in Bishkek.
The mayor's office emphasizes that this initiative is aimed at improving the visual cleanliness of the city, which in turn should attract more pedestrians, create a unique atmosphere, and enhance the tourist appeal of the capital.
