On December 26, the Help the Children-SKD foundation held the "Warmth of the New Year" event at the National Center for the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood in Bishkek. During the event, assistance amounting to 400,000 soms was provided to children receiving treatment in the oncology, hematology, and immunology departments.
In order to create an atmosphere of support and care in the lead-up to the New Year holidays, the foundation organized the delivery of humanitarian and medical aid for young patients and their families.
Each child participating in the event received a soft toy symbolizing the upcoming year. Families also received oil and fat products from the company "Shedevr" and cheeses from "Sut-Bulak," long-time partners of the foundation.
The foundation's president, Elena Koneva, noted: "The 'Warmth of the New Year' event embodies unity, compassion, and genuine involvement, emphasizing that even one day of attention can bring joy and hope to children who are in the hospital. The New Year is a special time when it is important for every child to feel care and support. We are happy to have been able to bring these emotions to those for whom the holiday is spent within the walls of a medical facility."
The foundation expressed its gratitude to all partners, volunteers, and caring individuals who helped implement this event and supported its initiative.
