On December 26, the Public Charitable Foundation Help the Children-SKD organized the event "Warmth of the New Year," which cost 400,000 soms. It was aimed at supporting children undergoing treatment in oncology and hematology departments. This information was provided by the foundation.
With the approach of the New Year holidays, the foundation delivered assistance to create an atmosphere of care and warmth for the little patients and their families during this challenging time.
As part of the event, each child received soft toys in the shape of the upcoming year's symbol, as well as fat and oil products from the company "Shedevr" and cheeses from "Sut-Bulak," long-time partners of the foundation.
Additionally, blood products worth 50,000 soms and reagents for the diagnostic laboratory worth 280,000 soms were delivered to the hematology department.
The event was conducted with the support of volunteers from the "Epsilon" school, who made numerous toys as part of the "Box of Courage" project and have been helping the foundation organize charitable events for many years.
"The Warmth of the New Year" symbolizes unity, compassion, and sincere involvement, reminding us that even one day of care can bring joy and hope to children. The New Year is a time when it is important for every child to feel support. We are happy that we were able to give these emotions to children for whom the holiday takes place within the walls of the hospital," noted the foundation's president, Elena Koneva.
