From December 27 to 31, New Year food fairs will be held in Kyrgyzstan

In Bishkek and other regions of the Kyrgyz Republic, fairs are planned until June 2026, featuring local producers, farmers, and artisans. These events will take place on designated days and will offer socially significant food products to residents.

Considering the upcoming New Year holidays, the fairs will be held daily from December 27 to 31. It is important to note that there is currently no shortage of essential food products in the republic, and the reserves are at a sufficient level.

The fairs are organized to ensure a stable domestic market and provide quality products at affordable prices. In Bishkek, they take place every Saturday and Sunday in collaboration with the city administration.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic together with the Bishkek city administration. At the fairs, prices for food products are lower than market prices, making them more accessible to the population.

The key objectives of the fairs include:

- curbing price increases;

- ensuring affordable food for socially vulnerable groups;

- supporting domestic producers;

- creating stability in the domestic market.

The fairs in Bishkek will be held at the following locations:

- T. Usubaliev Square;

- the intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov Streets;

- Erkindik Boulevard (Pervomaisky District).

Participants in the fairs must comply with certain requirements:

- products must be of high quality and meet sanitary standards;

- prices must be lower than market prices;

- a confirmation letter from the district agricultural management must be provided.
