A tragedy occurred in Bishkek involving employees of the municipal enterprise 'Tazalyk', which was commented on by the local mayor's office:
On December 30, 2025, around 8:00-8:30 AM, workers of 'Tazalyk' were returning home after fulfilling their duties on their assigned section on Auezov Street and, unfortunately, drowned in a technical channel.
The Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, immediately arrived at the scene.
He instructed to closely monitor the developments and organize a comprehensive investigation.
After the search operations are completed, assistance from the reserve fund and funds from the 'Tazalyk' Trade Union Committee will be provided.
Currently, all circumstances of the incident are being clarified, and necessary measures are being taken.
The Mayor is personally overseeing the situation.
