According to testimonies, the accident happened on January 17 during the daytime near a public transport stop. Bus number 103 was unable to stop in time and crashed into the rear of bus route 226. After the incident, both buses were sent to the bus depot.
Representatives of the municipal enterprise "Bishkek City Transport" confirmed that as a result of the collision, one of the passengers was injured.
"The injured woman, approximately 35–40 years old, was taken to the hospital by an ambulance crew," the transport department reported.
An investigation into the traffic accident is underway, municipal authorities added.
