A pre-investigation check regarding the death of the resuscitation doctor of the city children's emergency hospital, Aigul Z., has been initiated by the Internal Affairs Department of the October District of Bishkek. This was reported by the press service of the department, which added that the fact has already been registered in the AIS ZHUY.
According to the police, all necessary examinations have been appointed, the results of which will be announced later.
Aigul Z.'s sister shared in her social media post that the tragedy occurred on the night of January 1 to 2. The official conclusion states asphyxiation as the cause of death; however, the details of the incident remain unclear and raise questions among relatives.
According to her, that evening, a person named D. was near Aigul, with whom she had previously broken up. The published version of events claims that she locked herself in the bathroom, after which events occurred that led to her death. The sister also mentioned previous threats made against Aigul and expressed concerns that D. might attempt to leave the country.
“We do not want to draw conclusions. Our request is to conduct an objective, transparent, and independent investigation,” the sister stated in her post.
