
According to Uzhydromet, this week Uzbekistan will experience rain, especially in the northern regions, where both rain and snow are possible.
The daytime air temperature will range from +12 to +17 degrees, but by midweek a decrease to +8…+11 is expected.
Night temperatures will also remain quite mild — within +7…+10, but by midweek they may drop to +3…+6.
In the northern part of the country, night temperatures will fluctuate from −2 to +3, and in some places may drop to −5…−10. During the day, temperatures in these regions will range from +3 to +8, with possible values around 0…−5.
The wind will blow at a speed of 7−12 m/s, with gusts possible up to 18 m/s on certain days. From February 9 to 10, gusts in some areas may reach 20−25 m/s.
Fog is also expected in some places.
In mountainous areas, heavy precipitation in the form of rain and snow is possible, creating avalanche-prone conditions.
In Tashkent, rain is forecasted by Monday evening, with daytime temperatures ranging from +14…+16.
From February 10 to 13, the rain will continue. During the daytime, the air temperature will be +11…+16, decreasing to +8…+10 on February 11. At night, temperatures will fluctuate from +8…+10 to +3…+5.
The wind is expected to blow at a speed of 3−8 m/s, occasionally reaching 9−14 m/s.
