































A sports event for children called "Kyshty Mayram - 2026" took place today, January 31, 2026, on the slope of Mount Chon-Tash. This event was organized for the active and beneficial winter recreation of youth, as reported by the Bishkek city administration.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, and the Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanat Sagynbaev, who congratulated the children on the winter holiday and wished them health, good spirits, and an active lifestyle.
More than 400 children aged 13 to 15 from four districts of the capital participated in the celebration. Among them were children from rehabilitation centers and boarding schools, as well as those from difficult life situations.
Various active games and relays aimed at promoting physical activity and socialization of children were held as part of the event.
Additionally, an entertainment program was prepared for the participants, including performances by artists, illusionists, and interactive activities. All children received commemorative gifts after the celebration and participated in a group photo session.
The Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of the Bishkek city administration was the organizer of the event.
The winter sports holiday for children has been held in Bishkek since 2011 and has become a good tradition aimed at supporting a healthy lifestyle and the comprehensive development of youth.
