In Bishkek, an interdepartmental round table was held at the base of the Combat Training Center of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, dedicated to the topic "Prevention of Offenses and Suicides Among Personnel of the Law Enforcement Agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic." The event was led by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Tariel Otonbaev, with the aim of developing comprehensive measures and coordinating practical steps aimed at reducing cases of suicide among military personnel.
Representatives from various state structures participated in the round table, including the Ministry of Defense, the State National Security Committee, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Penitentiary Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the Ministry of Education, Science, Higher Education and Innovations, Culture, Information and Youth Policy, the Military Prosecutor's Office, and other public organizations.
During the discussion, reports from officials of the Ministry of Defense were heard regarding issues related to the conscription of citizens for military service, improving the quality of the selection of draftees, as well as the role of educational work and the organization of medical and preventive work in the units and institutions of the Armed Forces.
Representatives of the Military Prosecutor's Office and the Main Directorate for the Fight Against Corruption of the State National Security Committee also provided their reports, which were discussed during the round table.
